Tutor & Therapy Centre

The Situla Midrand Tutor and Therapy Centre is established in Blue Hills Midrand.  The Campus has a beautiful open outdoor space, where our happy learners spend time exploring their environment, learning through doing and connecting with their peers and educators.

Our indoor learning centre offers a nurturing and enticing learning space created to optimize a learner’s engagement.  The space was specifically designed to holistically support the academic, physical, intellectual, emotional and sensory needs of our learners.

This Centre accommodates learners with individual needs and follows the IMPAQ CAPS-aligned curriculum.  In keeping with Situla’s core values, groups are very small (10- 12 learners) allowing for individual attention and support.  Our focus is to support a child’s individual academic needs as well as value their communication, play, exploration, active engagement and collaboration.

The Campus currently caters for children receiving tutoring for Grade R.

Our qualified and passionate teachers create an environment where each learner is motivated and encouraged to participate and enjoy learning.  Our grade R’s follow the IMPAQ curriculum, to ensure the educational foundations are set in place.

We believe strongly in a multi-disciplinary approach, thus our learners receive integrated Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Kinderkinetics and Physical Education every week.

Our small groups and individualized learning support, allow learners to actively engage in their academic programs whilst forming meaningful connections.  Our passionate and highly skilled team believe in growing a child holistically and look forward to nurturing your child’s self-discovery at Situla Midrand.
