Stimulation Centre

Our Stimulation Centre is situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Hillcrest KwaZulu-Natal. By welcoming children into our smaller, loving classrooms, we aim to unlock every learners potential through encouraging their innate ability to learn within a safe and nurturing environment.

The campus has lots of space for indoor and outdoor activities, providing multiple areas for exploration and engagement. Our learners’ school day is comprised of early developmental activities, educational activities paired with therapeutic intervention. This remedial instruction focuses on giving each student a solid academic foundation while encouraging social interaction.

Our educational programs are structured around the needs of the individual whilst simultaneously encouraging social understanding and integration. We give students a lot of one-on-one time and design curricula specifically catering to their needs. The stimulation program helps address any areas where they may be having difficulty and provides person-centred support.

At Situla, we prioritise a multi-disciplinary approach and have a range of dedicated therapists and teachers. Our learners receive daily individual tutoring sessions as well as weekly speech therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy. Additionally, as extras, our campus also provides horse riding therapy.

Our wish is for our students to grow and develop to discover their abilities and strengths and to provide a happy and caring learning environment created by our highly qualified teaching and tutoring staff.
